How does Alabama Marble Company work with global sources?
Some materials are sourced through direct quarry or producer relationships. Others are evaluated or supplied through project-specific processor or distribution relationships. We disclose the source path and Alabama Marble Company's commercial role for each material.
Who processes globally sourced stone?
Qualified independent processors perform the required sawing, finishing or cut-to-size work. The project scope identifies the processor, contracting party, tolerances, approvals and quality-review responsibilities.
What does project-specific quality review include?
Depending on scope, it may include current photography, samples, range boards, pre-production approvals, processor checkpoints or third-party inspection. The agreed project documents define the review; it is not a blanket performance guarantee.
